Nigel Maeda

As part of the ongoing expansion Revo Group Ltd are moving into furniture. To head up this division Revo have appointed Nigel Maeda.

Nigel joins Revo from a background of both account management and furniture consultancy. Nigel has a BA Honours degree in European Business Studies and for the last 10 years has worked in office furniture both with manufacturers and dealers working with blue-chip companies, with the last four and half years working at Morgan Sindall Plc.

Philip Basford, Managing Director of Revo Group said “This will enable our clients to be offered a service whereby they can benefit from a turnkey solution with one company.”

Triathlon at Dorney Lake

Chantelle Basford, wife of Revo Group Ltd Managing Director is taking part in the Shock Absorber Women Only Triathlon on Saturday 3rd July 2010 to be held at Dorney Lake, Nr Windsor. It's a Sprint Triathlon which consists of a 400m Swim, 20k (12 mile) Bike Ride and a 5k (3 mile) Run.

Chantelle has been training hard for this event and we are delighted to support her in her quest to raise funds for Breast Cancer Care.

"When I started out I could just about do the run – so the thought of the swim followed by the bike and finishing with the run, filled me with dread! I’m still quite worried about completing the run after the bike but am hopeful to finish in a respectable, but maybe not a world record, time" said Chantelle.

evo Group Ltd are expanding their dynamic team by appointing a new Quantity Surveyor.

Paul Naylor BSc (Hons) joins Revo bringing with him 10 years of Construction experience.  He initially trained as a QS after leaving school for a new build developer.  After gaining a strong background in property development he moved into the more specialist works for main contractors to expand his knowledge.  He has worked alongside many prestigious clients all over London, specifically on fast track programme fit outs/office refurbishment projects.

Philip Basford, MD of Revo Group Ltd said : “The appointment of Paul as QS will bring another dimension to the team and I look forward to working with him in the future as Revo move forward in its strategic planning”

REVO wins contract to create Michel Roux restaurant at RICS headquarters

Windsor, Berkshire - Revo Group Ltd has won a contract to install new restaurant facilities at the headquarters of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors at Parliament Square in London.

The project is part of a ten year contract between Restaurant Associates and the RICS, to provide a Michelin-starred restaurant and conference and banqueting venue within the Grade II listed premises.  Michel Roux Jnr is creating menus for the new restaurant, with 2008 Roux scholarship winner Daniel Cox as head chef.

The project, which is expected to be completed in summer 2010, will involve fitting out the restaurant and private dining rooms and installing a new commercial kitchen.  Revo will also be responsible for building a bar on the first floor of the building which will be open to members, guests and the general public.

Speaking about the contract win, Philip Basford, Managing Director of Revo Group Ltd said: “We are extremely proud to be working on yet another project for Restaurant Associates.  When completed, the restaurant will provide the first commercial fine dining facilities in Parliament Square overlooking the Houses of Parliament and Westminster Abbey which means it must be of the highest standard possible.  Our previous successful work for Restaurant Associates and Gary Rhodes will give confidence that we are able to deliver the vision that Michel Roux Jnr and Restaurant Associates have for the restaurant.

REVO awarded Cumberland Hotel contract for Rhodes’ wine bar and dining room

Windsor, Berkshire - Revo Group Ltd is proud to announce that it has been awarded a prestigious refurbishment contract at a leading restaurant within the Cumberland Hotel, London.

Restaurant Associates has awarded Revo the project to refurbish the wine bar and private dining room at Michelin-starred chef Gary Rhodes’ restaurant Rhodes W1.  This follows Revo’s successful completion of the recently refurbished Rhodes Twenty Four restaurant at Tower 42. 

The Design & Build contract will include complete refurbishment of the wine bar, installation of a new bar, new lighting and redecoration.  Revo is also responsible for the refurbishment of the 14-cover private dining room to bring it in line with the hotel’s unique and contemporary style.

Revo celebrates two years in business

Revo Group is proudly celebrating its second anniversary, and despite the downturn is delighted to report good news in all sectors of its business.

Based in Windsor, Berkshire, Revo was formed by Philip Basford in September 2007 as a fit-out and construction contractor.  The team have delivered some prestigious projects for many high profile and blue chip clients during the last two years. 

“We are extremely proud to be entering our third year in business with such a positive outlook.  We have 100 per cent retention of our client base and over 30 blue chip clients to our name so far,” said Philip Basford, Managing Director of Revo Group.  “In such a slow and uncertain economy the fact that our business is growing with such exciting projects in the pipeline is testament to the commitment and capability of our great team of people.”

Neil Edmundson has joined as a Director of Revo, and will be responsible for handling large-scale relocations.

Neil worked in the relocation industry for 21 years, spending the last thirteen years as a Director of one of our competitors, a company which turned over in excess of £60 million per annum and comprised a team of 40 people. At his previous company he was responsible for building the business relocation arm of the company, and during his time there he organised and managed large relocations for Blackberry, Chrysalis, Deloitte, Exxon Mobil, Merrill Lynch, Microsoft, Sony, Three, Thames Water and many more.
